CANCELLATION OF THE 2008
SOUTH WEST INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW
Following the damage incurred at the Kemah Boardwalk and throughout the community by Hurricane Ike, the South West International Boat Show has now been cancelled.
In discussion with Kemah Boardwalk management, the organizers have proposed November 12th - 15th as the dates for the 2009 event. These dates will be confirmed early next month.
Once again, the organizers of the boat show would like to express their sympathy and good wishes to all those affected by Hurricane Ike.
The Kemah Boardwalk Marina plays host to the largest in-water
boat show
ever to come to Houston, the South West International Boat
Show.
A big, bustling “Florida Style” boat show in Houston's Bay Area,
with over 400 boats in the water ready to demo, and 200 more
onshore. Luxury RV’s, trucks, exotic cars, fashion shows, fishing
and boating gear, live music from the Bahamas and plenty of fun for
the family, all geared to present four fabulous days of fun in the
sun.
There will never be a better opportunity for buyers and sellers
to meet to discuss end of season sales while previewing next year’s
models before they hit the showroom.
Parking at the Kemah Boardwalk, the Houston Space Center and on
NASA Road One, with frequent boat show shuttle buses, make it easy
to visit the event.
So don’t miss out on the biggest and most exciting boat show
ever to arrive in Houston’s Bay Area.
